3-Hour Couples Intensive
An intensive is a period of counseling for 3 full hours to help you get to the root of your issues faster. With weekly/biweekly counseling, the start-and-stop of 55-minute sessions can make it difficult to get to root issues. You come in, unpack the week, go home, and experience more conflict. Then you do it all over again. An intensive gives you the space of 3 full hours of uninterrupted time to help you make the progress you want in your relationship.
3-Day Couples Intensive
Do the work in three days that it would normally take 6 months. 3-day Couples Intensive program has been is designed to repair broken relationships for the long term. You will spend 18 hours with me and my small team of experts over 3 days and work through relational building exercises to grow the intimacy in your relationship. Research says Intensive format is three times more effective than traditional weekly counseling.
8 Hour Couples Intensive
Shawn McBride’s 8-Hour Couples Counseling Intensive is for couples who are on the verge of breakup or divorce. It is for couples who are seeking one final effort to salvage the relationship.

The intensive is facilitated by Shawn McBride, MA, Licensed Professional Counselor, and is an IN PERSON ONLY intensive in his private office (Washington DC). Couples can fly into BWI, IAD or DCA and choose to stay at various hotels near Shawn’s office. There are tons of restaurant options for meals.
